Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) is one of the few places in the country to offer nasoalveolar molding (NAM), a presurgical treatment that improves outcomes for children with cleft lip and palate and is considered the most important advance in cleft lip and palate care in the last 30 years.
