Introduction:
Occasionally, we are faced with fibroids placed in awkward positions, neighbouring vital structures and organs that we want to safeguard whilst performing the resection.
The most important suggestion in such situations is exposure with safe hemostasis.
In today’s video, we present such case
Case:
The patient is a 39-year-old woman Gr0 with several fundal fibroids and one four centimetre left para-cervical myoma.
She had undergone a myomectomy 6 years ago but the fibroids have recurred.
During surgery, several fundal fibroids were resected but we knew there was also a left para-cervical myoma lying close to the left uterine vessels and ureter.
After the fundal fibroid resection was complete, we decided to remove the cervical fibroid too.
