内頸動脈内ステント留置のフォロー目的の検査です。
おそらく、血栓による閉塞に対して血管の再開通を行ったものと思われますが、ステントは人工物（生体にとって異物）なので、再狭窄（再閉塞）を繰り返すこともあります。
頚部の中枢側から抹消側へ追って行くと、ちょうどbulbus（球部）の内頸動脈と外頸動脈の分岐部辺りから網目状のチューブを確認できます。
ステントと血管壁の間は血栓様のエコーで埋まっていますが、ステント内は明らかな狭窄を認めません。
