Hi! I'm Sarah and I am a hospital pharmacist. I am currently a float pharmacist, meaning I float through different areas in the hospital. This is a typical day in my life when I cover the ER at night!

This video goes over extensively my patient work-up process in the morning before I round - using my patient monitoring form that I created. I also go over tips on how to impress your preceptors by being extra prepared for their questions and how to properly present a patient using the SOAP format.

I wanted to be able to give back somehow so I decided to create a series of notion templates to help guide you through your pharmacy journey! Throughout these templates - I have included little blurbs with advice and I have included a helpful log for your pharmacy experiences (IPPE/APPE/Extracurriculars). I hope you like it!

I am currently working as a night pharmacist with a very unique work schedule - 7 days on and 7 days off. This means I am making the most of my days off and will be traveling!

I am currently a float pharmacist, meaning I "float" around and work different areas of the hospital depending on where they need me. I switch between Night shift and Day shift every 6 months. After working both type of shifts, here are my honest thoughts as I get ready in the morning!

I graduated pharmacy school in 2020, finished my residency in 2021, and have officially been a full-time clinical hospital pharmacist ever since. I know, wild! I thought I would try something new - this is a WEEK in my life. I wanted to give you a sneak peak of how I utilize my precious days off and give you some updates about some changes for this new year.
