Having a chest, leg or arm X-ray in the children's hospital is very quick and you don't feel anything. This video shows you have to wear a gown and stand next to an X-ray plate or lie down on a bed to have your X-ray taken.

This video by the What? Why? Children in Hospital charity shows what happens when your child needs to have an Ultrasound to look at their tummy or any other part of their body. Not knowing what is going to happen can make children anxious. This video shows the Ultrasound probe and the gel used to make special pictures. Parents could show this video to their child before their appointment.

When you need an Ultrasound scan in hospital, your mum, dad or someone else can come with you. The radiographer puts jelly on the ultrasound camera which can look inside your tummy, your arms, legs and check out any lumps or bumps. It doesn't hurt and it doesn't take very long.

Niamh and Stephanie show what happens during joint injections using Entonox. They have Juvenile Arthritis (JIA, paediatric rheumatic disease) which can make their joints inflamed and swollen. The joint injection helps to reduce the swelling in their knees.
