My med school Easter break has come and gone too soon and now I'm back in uni. I however didn't waste the opportunity to vlog my break to share with you all Follow my one-week break during which my friends and I had a fun staycation at a beautiful Airbnb in South Gippsland and I also worked at COVID testing sites to fund my med school costs.

I am in the middle of exam period and I decided to vlog this whole process to give you an insight into what exam seasons look like for me :) Follow me as I prepare for exams with my med school friends and try to keep stress levels down (as much as I can).

I'm back with another vlog, and in this one, I take you through a week of MDSC! MDSC is a conference that is run by the Melbourne Medical School every year during the mid-year break. It is run by Melbourne medical students, FOR Melbourne medical students, and it is filled with various workshops, keynote speakers and symposiums that my peers have organised. It was a struggle waking up each morning (6AM wake ups) but it was a good experience overall, especially as this was the first in-person conference we had since COVID.

I am currently in the middle of exam period and decided to film an exam vlog series again :) I've been documenting bits of my study days as I personally enjoy watching study vlogs from time to time. Due to being quite stressed out, I haven't been able to vlog much recently and I also don't really have many exciting things to document ahahaah.

It has been a while! It took me a while to finish editing this vlog but it is finally done :) I attended my final MD student conference which is hard to believe! After attending this conference completely virtually in MD1 due to COVID, finishing my degree with an in-person MDSC was great:)

It's my last week before the Easter break :) Follow my week as I continue to go on placements for my paediatrics rotation and partake in the annual Good Friday Appeal Teddy Bear Hospital event! Balancing med school with extra-curricular activities and such for the last 12 weeks meant I was quite physically and mentally drained, so a break was much needed :)

The stress of med school is starting to build up and my weeks are becoming increasingly occupied with studying. I am back with another medical school vlog. Each of our blocks are 4 weeks long and I decided to show you guys what a week in anaesthetics looks like for me. I'll be in ED next and might film something similar then as well.

It has been a while :) I hope you've all been doing well! Here in Australia, interview season for medical schools has begun and a couple of you have asked me for some MMI tips. Although I can't call myself an expert, I do have some pieces of accumulated MMI advice as I sat through 3 MMIs and have tutored students in the last couple of years.

I'm now a couple of weeks into my final year and I filmed some vlog content during orientation week but I've only now finished editing it all Time has gone by very quickly and I can't believe I'm less than a year away from graduating - this just means I'll vlog more to have more memories to look back on.

As a previous pre-med student, I had to sit the dreaded GAMSAT to prepare for med school applications. As we all know, it's an emotionally, psychologically and financially draining experience and I personally had to sit it four times until I was able to get into my top preferenced medical school. Back when I was preparing, I didn't have many resources to know how to best prepare for the GAMSAT and I also didn't have the financial means to sign up to expensive courses.

I went through the stressful admissions process several times and in the process, I learned about all the intricacies that are involved. Back then, I really had to scavenge for information and it was hard to find a video that summed up everything so I figured I'd make my own for aspiring med students.
