CODE BLUES are called in the hospital when there's a medical emergency. This video takes you through the details of how a code is initiated, who arrives a code blue, what happens, how we decide when to stop and how often a patient survives. This has been an extremely requested video, so I really hope you enjoy it!! If you still have questions, let me know in the comments below! This is my experience with code blues, but I'm sure other institutions have slightly different protocols which are also correct. In the video, I didn't have a chance to stress the importance of debriefing and seeking out support after being part of a code blue.
