My * productive * morning routine as a medical student living in a student house.

We get to stay in a luxurious villa as 10 Medical students. Our hospital placement was 2 hours away from where our Med School is actually based. To save us from travelling everyday, Med School offered to contribute to the accommodation expenses of all of their 4th year med students.

What I wish someone told me before I applied to/ started Medical School!

☀️ This is how I spend my summer holidays as a medical student. I earn money by working as a medical interpreter and also do revision for the next academic year of Medical School. It's so easy to be lazy during summer🥱 (and that's ok). But if you want to be productive and get some motivation to do work, hope this helps!

"Are Biomedical scientists Medicine Rejects? - the most stereotypical question Biomed students get! There's a belief that Biomedical Scientists are failed Medics. I explored if there's any truth to this. I asked this question to biomedical scientist at their Graduation Ceremony at University Of Exeter. I also asked what kind of career options Biomedical Science degree can provide to their graduates and if it's a good alternative to Medicine. I hope this helps to any prospective students who are deciding in between Medicine and Biological Sciences as a university degree.
